Natural Hazards Center
The Natural Hazards Center, housed within the Institute of Behavioral Science at the University of Colorado Boulder, is a national leader in advancing knowledge on the social dimensions of disasters. The Center supports and disseminates research, provides training, curates resources, and fosters collaboration to strengthen disaster preparedness, response, and recovery—with a strong emphasis on equity and resilience.
Design work for the Center has spanned a wide range of communication and branding materials, including website and online training module design, data visualizations, handouts, recurring multi-page research reports, and comprehensive conference programs. Branded assets have included letterhead, a standardized research poster template, and slide deck designs to ensure visual consistency across events and publications
